task 2

          My two goals for task 2

I am going to improve my spelling  while I am doing this task Two. I am going to do that by checking carefully every single word I write on my e-portfolio. I will share with  my classmates to check my grammar mistakes and spelling  then, I will check from the dictionary to correct my grammar mistakes and spelling and also I will check and discuss with my classmates.

I am going to improve my  computer skills during this task Two . I am going to do that by following my teacher's rule about how to put my video on my e-portfolio. I will ask a classmate who knows computer very well to help me .I am going to use computer at home and every where to improve my computer skills.

   

For this task 2, I had to research my future plan about further study. I started researching on internet and I found heaps of information about civil engineering and try to meet different people who did this study before and get some information from them.

Here is my conversation with Unitec career adviser

I went to career adviser in waitakere compas and i met one of the career adviser to ask here some questions based on my future plans such as how I can improve English  and also  my qualification  and my university entrances. she answer all my questions and she gave a great advice about my further studies.

             My Reflect Blog for Task 2

For task 2 , I had to research about my future plan so I should work had to organised my work very well and to finish this task on time. So far. I had managed to make an appointment with career advisers at Unitec in waitakere campus and be able to interview someone out there. I also I managed to interview one of my classmate and search on internet and found some useful websites. My two goals were to improve my spelling  while I am doing this task Two and to improve my  computer skills during this task Two.

While I was doing this task I felt a bit shy to stand in front of the class to make presentation or to interview someone who is a native speaker because it was my first time to do this kind of activity. However at the moment  I am feeling a bit confident and I am happy about my progress which I have made during this task.

For me the most amazing thing about doing this task was correcting my mistakes by listing my videos again and found my grammar mistakes and correct them which is wonderful to do.However I found difficulty with making appointment with career advisers because I am always busy I could not find time to interview someone. I am happy about my progress towards my first goal because I achieved it almost 90% I correct all my mistakes which I had made but my second goal I struggled a little bit so I could not achieved it very well because is not easy to upload every thing on to my e-portfolio by my self I think I achieved it about 50% 

The part that was most difficult for me interview someone who is native speaker because in reality is not easy to have conversation with native speaker at the first time I felt shy and nervous.I also hesitated to make an appointment because of my shortness of my time  I am busy always with my family. I felt also lack of confident and nervous because of my English and my mistakes that I was making during my interview.

Overall, task 2 was very helpful for me in terms of my spelling and grammar also I gain more confident doing this task. 

I am going to improve my confident talking to native speakers in my next task.
