task 4

                                  

                           my goals for task 4          

I am going to improve ability to give a confident presentation. I would do that by practising my presentation before the class and I will be well prepared for it.I will also try to make flash cards and write main points to help me to give a good presentation. I am going to practice with my classmates after class if it is possible.

I am going to improve to plan my task during task four. I am going to do that by completing my planing sheet in the class and make timetable to finish this task on time. I would like to organize and be ready to not fall behind to complete this task on time.



For this task 4, I had to research a something new or old related to New Zealand history so, I decided to search something old because I always interested historical places to remind me the past. To complete my task I visited to One Three Hill with my classmates and we walked around and took some photos. We saw an amazing things out there.

It has a very wide park and very natural landscape. It has also very nice view you can see the city center and many suburbs when you clamp the mountain which was and good experience for me I really enjoy that activity.

In this website I found lot of information about One Three Hill such as the history of the place and why it was built and I took some quotations.

While we were walking around the park I took this picture, as you can see there is sheep in the park they look amazing we watch them  and enjoy the view as well. Some young sheep were playing unbelievably.

This man was a great man and he was called a father of Auckland, because he involved politics and public talks. He was owner of  Cornwall Park and while we were walking there we took this photo which was very amazing to see this kind of history.

                       My Reflect Blog for task 4

for this task 4 I had to research an old or new place related to New Zealand history, so I managed to go to One Three Hill located in Royal Oak area and I interviewed with someone and took some photos. before I went there I looked at the internet then I found the address then I went with my friend. I also I found some useful websites which gave me lots of information about the mount . My to goals were to improve ability to give a confident presentation and to improve ability to plan a task.


Before I started my research I felt exciting because this topic was my favorite topic because I like researching about historical places or even everything which reminds me in the past. On the other hand I was bit afraid to go to a place which was new for me on that time.However I am feeling happy at the moment about task 4, because I managed everything required to complete my task 4. During my interview I felt a bit shy but I was okay with my questions that I had asked her and my voice was much loader then it used to be. this task has been useful for me because I have learnt much about how to search a historical place and also the place that I want to visit. I learned how to search on the internet before I went that place.




The best thing about doing this task was learning about searching new places and able to interview someone out there. the most bad thing was going alone a new old place which was a bit strange for me. unfortunately I didn't achieve my English goal because my presentation in front of whole class didn't went well. The reason of that was I didn't prepared well so I tried to do it without preparation that's why I was a bit nervous.  On the other hand I am happy with my second goal because I planed my task before I did it then I followed those steps which make me easy to complete this task. I achieved my goals about 70%  which means I still need to improve my first goal by prepared well my next presentation.


The part that was the most difficult for me was making presentation in front of the whole class. I was very nervous and I forgot all most everything because  I didn't prepare well so, I felt extremely nervous and I was shaking as well. But I was very happy with my second goal because I planed my task and I followed my steps to complete this task easily.



Overall, task 4  was very helpful for me and I enjoyed doing it except presentation.


My next task which is task 5 , I am going  to improve ability to understand written texts
