task 6


                                My two goals


I am going to improve ability to contribute equally to a group discussion  in this task 6. I would do that by trying to speak the same amount that the other students are speaking. We can also use a stopwatch to help us to divide the time between students to give an importunity to every students during the discussion. I am going to practice with my classmates before the discussion if it is possible.

In this task I spoke as much as the other member of my group spoke , I also  asked some questions to my group members, during this task  I responded all  to what others  said. While I was doing  my task 6 my feeling was good and relaxing  also I was more confident then task 5 that I had investigated Eden garden before two weeks   



I am going to improve ability to work with other students  while I am doing this task. I am going to do that by arrange a particular time with students to practice and talk about our discussion. I will also try to get known with other students to be easy for me to make with them a nice discussion.



In this task I had to research about benefits of being or staying healthy. I  have specifically  made research about  benefits of exercise. I visited swimming pool and unitec gym and I was able to interview someone in the swimming pool and ask her some questions about being fit and healthy.

I also made some research on the internet to gain some knowledge about exercise and fitness.

This is Cameron pool in Mt Roskill I visited there during weekend and I interviewed someone there.

For task 6, I had to investigate how to stay health so, I have chosen a exercise and fitness for my task. All what I did so far, is making online research because there were lots of options to do this task. I found heaps of information on internet about exercise and I posted on to my e-portfolio. I also arranged to make an appointment with Cameron pool and I interviewed someone. I am going to do group discussion at the end as well.  My two goals were to improve ability to contribute equally to a group discussion  in this task 6 and to improve ability to work with other students  while I am doing this task.



Before I started my research, I felt happy and relax because this topic was familiar with me because do exercise every day , but searching on the internet in English was much frustrated because it is hard for me to understand all the words while I am doing this research but, I can understand the whole idea, so I can write my own words what I understand in simple English. At the moment I am feeling good because I found numerous of information about this topic so my research went well. During my interview I was confident and prepared my questions before so I was happy and relaxed.



The best thing about doing this task was searching a topic related with healthbecause I have learnt lots of things how to stay healthy and live longer. I also learned benefits of exercise and differences between healthy exercise and unhealthy exercise. For me , the most easiest thing about doing this task was doing an online research because as I mentioned before its familiar to me and I interested making online research mostly. It is also easier than going somewhere and spend some time there. I feel happy with my progress towards my goals because I relaxed that I participated the group discussion and I worked with other students. In terms of my English goal I achieved very well because I was a group leader so, I had an opportunity to post questions to my friends and answer the questions that they had asked me. I also did much progress with my second goal because I worked with other students as much as I can during this task. I achieved my two goals about 100%.


The part that was the most easier for me as I mentioned was doing online research I was pleased doing this topic because I learned from it how I can stay healthy for ever or even how important exercise is in our life. For example in my interview the lady whose I was interviewing her told me our body needs exercise and to stay fit to live longer  and stay healthy.  I have faced some difficulties during my research because I have struggled some hard words in internet because it was written in high English so i look at the dictionary some of the words that I didn't understand. However I did my best and I finished my task.



Overall, I enjoyed Task 6, because I learned from it numerous of benefits for my health. I learned much about benefits of exercise.



For my next Task , I want to prepared my final presentation for the course in this semester.
