               My 2 goals for task 5 

I am going to improve ability to understand written texts because this is very challenging when I tried to search the place on internet I could not understand what the text about so, I'm going to find out  the meaning of the main words. I would also try to make skip reading  and find out the main idea of the text without trying to look up every second word in the dictionary. I am going to write those words in my diary and learn them and put some sentences also I would ask help from my teacher to explain more.

I am going to improve time management skills during this task. I am going to make schedule and manage my time to finish my tasks on time and to not fall behind. I am going to spend on my e portfolio 1 hour every day after school. I would also try to do my homework on time or if the teacher told us to visit somewhere I would try to visit immediately otherwise I will be behind from the class I am going to make some catch up on my previous tasks which haven't finished yet as well.

For this task 5, I had to visit a destination, so I have chosen Eden Garden to try to achieve my goal in this task. I went there with my friend and we got opportunity to walk around the garden and took some photos. We also interview some people out there.

Here is papura we met her in the garden.

She is an old women called papura, she came from Hamilton to visit the Garden. We asked a view quietions about the history of Eden Garden, she gave us a good information and answer all our queitions about the garden,

For task 5, I had to visit a destination in Auckland so, I went with my friends to Eden Garden because this task was a group task. We have been able to interview someone out there which was really good and enjoyable because we were doing as a group. We met  an old women in the Garden and she gave us a lot of information about it, also I found a good websites which I found more about the garden. My goals were to improve ability to understand written texts and also to improve time management skills.

Before I started my research, I felt quiet hard  about searching the destination because I dont have good enough area knowledge. This task was a group task as I wrote before, so that helps me a lot to do it. At the moment I am feeling happy because I managed to complete nearly my task 5. This task was helpful for me, because I have learnt much about how to manage time skills to meet someone and able to interview. During my interview, I felt happy and I enjoyed it.

The best thing about doing this task was as I mention before this task was a group task and we helped each other to complete our task nicely. For me the most hardest part was searching the Garden which is  very new for me and interview someone out there because I didn't know way and the roads I have to go and took a map to find it. My friend Botan helped me and took me to this Garden because he was knew that garden before.I feel happy with my my first goal because during my interview I was confident and I tried to speak enough loudly as well. I also was confident during the group discussion. As you can see I am answering my friend's questions and asking them questions and also I am taking part the discussion which is what I want to achieve. I am also happy with my second goal because I managed to search internet and prepared some questions for my interview which was good. However I need some improvement about knowing places and learning Auckland area knowledge because I was struggling finding the garden unless my friend took us I will not be able to find it easily. So I achieved my goals about 70% because as I said I didn't face any difficulties about them and I and I overcame the little ones as well.

The part that was most difficult for me was finding the place and visit and make even the appointment to visit there and interview someone. In this task I have to find a place and make appointment and find someone to talk to, so I searched on internet and found some information about Eden Garden. After that my friend said I will do the appointment for us and he made . We did an interview very well and enjoy our visit as well.Our English in terms of interview were good because we prepared around five questions before we went there and every one asked and participated the interview. I listened carefully and tried to make some extra questions as well so I achieved my English goal. I managed to work with other students successfully, as I had said in my goal. I did this by going with them to that garden and interviewed one of the people there. I listened our group discution again as I had said before, but I couldn't hear any grammar mistakes, but my voice was very quiet, soI need to improve that by trying to speak louder as much as I can.

Overall, I enjoyed Task 5 because as I had said before we did as a group, so it was much easier than the individual ones.

My next task I want to improve use of vocabulary in speaking.
